Something went wrong, or you have a question? The answers to the most common ones are below. For anything else, write to [email protected] with your username: we answer as soon as we can.
Why was my photo rejected?
A photo is rejected, and the rejection is announced when its develop time is over, when:
- it shows a human face, nudity or other unsafe content (hands and bodies without a face are fine);
- no object can be recognised, or it is too blurry or too dark;
- it is a photo of a screen or a printout;
- it is the same kind of object as your previous card (two mugs in a row, for example).
Take another photo of a different object, in good light, with no one's face in the frame.
What does "in review" mean?
The automatic checks saw something that a person must look at, usually a face or sensitive content. Someone on our team decides: approved, the card is revealed as usual; rejected, the photo is deleted. If nobody has reviewed it within 24 hours, it is rejected automatically.
Do I get my credits back?
- Our fault: if a capture fails on our side, you get 20 credits back, at its reveal.
- New players: if one of your first 4 captures is rejected (no object, too blurry or dark, or the same kind twice in a row), you get 20 credits back.
- Moderation: your first 3 photos rejected by moderation give 20 credits back each, for the trouble.
- Never for cheating (a screen or printout) or for a photo locked down for the protection of minors.
The credits show up in your wallet at the reveal, never earlier.
I bought credits and something is wrong
- In the iPhone app: purchases and refunds go through Apple. Use reportaproblem.apple.com, and write to us if the credits have not arrived.
- On the web: write to us with the date and the amount of the payment.
Credits have no cash value and can never be exchanged back for money (see the terms of use).
Who can see my cards?
By default, other players can browse your collection and your showcase, and your first discoveries and Legendary cards appear in the discovery feed. You can turn each of these off in Settings, What others see.
How do I report a card or a player?
Open the card or the player's profile and tap Report (in a card's menu, or in the discovery feed). Pick a reason, add a note if you like, and send. The card disappears from your view at once, and someone on our team looks at the report, usually within 24 hours. The player is never told who reported them. Not signed in? Write to [email protected] with the card's link. The rules are in the terms of use.
How do I block someone?
On their profile, tap Block. You stop seeing each other's cards, profiles, discoveries and auctions, and you can't trade or claim each other's gifts any more. To undo it: Settings, Blocked players.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings, Delete my account. Settle your open trades, auctions and winning bids first.
- Your photos are deleted, and the cards made from them show a placeholder.
- Your cards stay in the game under an anonymous "Former player", so other players' collections stay whole.
- Credits left in your wallet are lost.
To also remove your sign-in record (name and email), or to get a copy of your data, write to [email protected]. Everything about your data is in the privacy policy.
My account was suspended
Accounts are suspended for cheating or for breaking the terms of use. A person on our team decided it. If you think it is a mistake, write to us with your username.
